How can I get the most out of my therapy?

You will hear Heather say, often, the work doesn’t stop when session ends. You will always receive action steps at the end of your session, putting the work in with those action steps is how you will see the most fruit from your therapeutic journey.

How long will it take?

Everyone’s therapeutic journey looks different. While one individual may get what they need from 10 weekly sessions, another individual may need 20. Your therapist will discuss the initial expectation at the outset and will review with you periodically.

I don’t have insurance and can’t afford the full rate. How can I receive treatment?

Please reach out. There are sliding scale spots for situations exactly like this. If all sliding scale spots are full, you will be offered a spot on the sliding scale waitlist.

As a parent, what do I need to know?

You are just as important in this journey as your child. It is important that parents feel supported and seen in this process, too. Parent consultations will take place periodically, and you are always welcome to contact your child’s therapist if you have concerns.

Do you offer evening/weekend/after-school appointments?

At this time, these are not options available. Please check back periodically, as this could change in the future.
